The Final Deception By Heather Graham

Raoul Nicolson is a serial killer who strangles, cuts out eyes & tongue of his victims. Then sets them on fire. He escapes from prison. Psychologist Kiernan Finnegan & her fiance, FBI Craig Frasier, are both involved in recapturing him. The day Raoul escaped other dead bodies start piling up & it looks similar to Raouls work. The story was good until the end. It wound up to be 2 minor characters not even appearing to be connected who framed Raoul for the murders for money. It was so disappointing! It was like reading one story & it switched to something different.

I'm a big fan of this series based on the character Eve Dallas. This is a complicated story of the murder of 2 people who seem to have no connection to each other. The search for the solution of the mystery leads back to a posh boys high school to determine whether these crimes are terrorist or revenge driven. I recommend it as I found it difficult to put the book down.

A friend of mine suggested that I might like the Hulu series "Normal People." Upon hearing it was based on a book, I obviously had to go read the book first. I definitely understand why my friend recommended it. This is a coming of age story that explores a complicated relationship between two people as they navigate growing up and becoming adults. However, if you are looking for a happy, heart-warming story, this book is not for you. It's honest, tender, and heart-wrenching at times. Though there are sweet moments, I wouldn't call this a happy story, but that's okay. Overall I do not regret the time I spent reading this book. Just check with yourself first to make sure you're in the mood to feel a complex range of emotions.

I like cozies. They're easy, breezy reads that are fun to read after a long day at work. Juliette takes care of bunnies and solves mysteries in her spare time as an amateur sleuth. When a dead body ruins a birthday party she's hosting a bunny show at, the host asks her to get involved and help the cops find the killer. It wasn't going to be easy since Evelyn, the person who has killed, was disliked by everyone and had a lot of enemies. She would blackmail people. To help uncover more about Eveyln's murder, Juliette accepts a position as a judge at a local bunny competition. Evelyn was judging but since was killed, the competition was down a judge. For the most part, it's a fun and thrilling read. Some parts are hard to read if you're a hardcore animal lover like me. Not everyone in the book loves and cares about the sweet little bunnies and sometimes puts them in harm's way.
