John Sanford always writes a good story. In this one Marshall Lucas Davenport & FBI are tasked with investigating who put up a website of Senators kids on the dark web. The website is filled with hate groups like Nazis,KKK stuff & it seems like its promoting killing the kids. The message is directed at people against the government, minorities & religions. A child is shot but not one of the targeted ones. The shooter, Dunn is a lone wolf antigovernment person. Now the hunt for Dunn is escalated & Lucas is tracking down every known home grown terrorist group. Davenport figures out that the website was a publicity hoax by a Senators daughter. Davenport does get the shooter, gets the site shutdown & gets in out in media that site is a hoax to prevent further shootings.

This is book 2 in the Royal Hearts Academy series. It’s a story about a bible loving nerdie girl that basically goes unnoticed by everyone in the school or so she thought. Somehow she has caught the attention of the most popular heartbreaker in the school. No matter how much Cole try’s to ignore Sawyer he just can’t

This is a biography of George Washington covering his personal, military and political life concentrating on little known facts and debunking some that we have always thought true. It's a well written book, easy to read. I recommend it as it portrays Washington as a human, not perfect.

The Street

The book, set in the early 1940's is the story of a young black woman in Harlem trying to raise her son and better their lives amid violence and racial inequalities. It is extremely well written and I was riveted to the story to see the outcome. It is very sad story of the difficulties faced this young woman that prevented her from achieving her goals. It was published in 1946, won a literary grant for the author and has a million copies in print. I highly recommend it.
