The Language Of Sisters
by Luanne Rice
View in Library Catalog
Although touted as Rice's first "Young Adult" novel on the book jacket, this book is in our Adult Fiction section and I think it is just as appropriate for adult readers. The content regarding texting while driving is relevant to any person behind the wheel and the theme of the bond between sisters resonates for any age. Rice's usual insights into families, love and the ups and downs that all entail are once again prevalent in this book. A quick read, I would recommend it as a great addition to any beach or pool bag!

Olaf Loves To Read

A story was easy to read and very interesting. Olaf was reading books in the library for other kids and the library was full of people.
Normal People
by Sally Rooney

A friend of mine suggested that I might like the Hulu series "Normal People." Upon hearing it was based on a book, I obviously had to go read the book first. I definitely understand why my friend recommended it. This is a coming of age story that explores a complicated relationship between two people as they navigate growing up and becoming adults. However, if you are looking for a happy, heart-warming story, this book is not for you. It's honest, tender, and heart-wrenching at times. Though there are sweet moments, I wouldn't call this a happy story, but that's okay. Overall I do not regret the time I spent reading this book. Just check with yourself first to make sure you're in the mood to feel a complex range of emotions.

Romeo erased all the stories from books and he put his picture inside. PJ Masks were very upset and were looking for Romeo. Superheros (Owlette, Gekko and Catboy) found Romeo and they fixed all the books. They saved the day.

Widow Liza Schrock is the owner of the Amish Charm Bakery. She is content to cook mouthwatering recipes for her community and stay unwed. That changes when widower Jacob Graber moves town. Now they both get a second chance at love, unless the secret from her past gets in the way. Very enjoyable and easy read.
The Newcomer
by Suzanne Woods Fisher

Henrick Newman (The Newcomer) is introduced into the story line. Problems arise as the Bishop becomes ill and there is no leadership for the community. Anna's love is tested. In this historical novel we get to meet Ben Franklin.
Golden in Death

I'm a big fan of this series based on the character Eve Dallas. This is a complicated story of the murder of 2 people who seem to have no connection to each other. The search for the solution of the mystery leads back to a posh boys high school to determine whether these crimes are terrorist or revenge driven. I recommend it as I found it difficult to put the book down.
Chicken Little
by Addison Moore

Chicken Little was one of my favorite books when I was like 5 to 6 but now I'm 7 and I have different types of books that I like! So the review of the book was Chicken Little thought a piece from the sky was falling but it was just an Acorn! So Chicken Little told the whole town that the sky was falling everyone was crazy about all of this! But when Chicken Little's Dad said it was just a little acorn everyone stopped and was very Mad! So Chicken Little was very Sad! And that was my book review!

Ove is a character. I heard many people liked this novel. I had to read it. Everyday events, neighbors, life in general are all explored in this book.
