Good fast read. Had me guessing from the start and was surprised, who did it.

Worse, he’s remarried – to Drue’s eighth grade frenemy, Wendy, now his office manager. And they’re offering her a job.
The Gingerbread Cookie Mystery
by Judy Katschke

It is a nice story because I like to build a Gingerbread House. Ms. Fickle class built a gingerbread house as well, but one piece of the house went missing. In this case, the only thing that I didn't like in this story was that kids were blaming each other about missing snowflake cookie. But finally the mystery was solved and everybody was very happy.

Depressing book but well written. Keeps your interest about a family that has suffered a great loss.
Looking For Alaska
by John Green

Looking for Alaska was one of my favorites when I first read it back in high school. Now a college graduate, and I wanted to see how it would hold up. There were still many things to love about this story. It's easy to read, has likeable characters, and is a fairly straight forward plot that does try to tackle some of life's deeper questions. From a slightly more mature perspective, I question these characters and their actions a little bit more than I did several years ago, but I still think it's worth a read, especially if you have never read any other John Green books before.
You Never Forget Your First
by Alexis Coe

This is a biography of George Washington that takes a closer look at myths and stories surrounding him that we have always thought true and debunks them. This book makes you realize though Washington was a great man, he wasn't perfect. I recommend it as the author brings up many interesting facts about him that makes you see him more clearly, faults and all.
My Magical Friends: Tooth Fairy's Lost Wand
by Amy Edgar

This book includes longer sentences and more challenging words like for an entry first grader but with a little help it was fun reading this story. This story is about a girl named Isabella who lost her first tooth and she can't wait for the Tooth Fairy to come.

Grace is God's unmerited favor. Grace is freely given to us by God.God saved us and called us to a holy calling. His grace is not according to our works. Grace is given according to his purpose.
