This book is devoted to individuals who are serious about their commitment in living a Christian life. Many Christians today are falling away from their commitments to Christ and author Clifton Jones is making those who are serious in their christian walk aware of the the things around us that are causing us to fall away from Christ and the new way of life that intrudes on a Christian commitment.

This mystery collaboration includes J.W.Jackson and Brady Coyne, respective heroes of the individual authors. Taking place once again on Martha's Vineyard it follows the detective and lawyer as they investigate two deaths that are eventually linked. When a former US president is scheduled to visit the island to help diffuse a union strike of the ferry operators the connection between the two deaths is finally made. Any fans of either author will enjoy the island setting and fast paced mystery.

The Chemist
by Stephenie Meyer
View in Library Catalog
Don't let the author's name scare you away. Meyer proves that she can tell a great story devoid of vampires and werewolves. The Chemist truly has something for everyone, be it action, romance, mystery, or just unpredictable twists. Alex is a complex protagonist, an anti-hero of sorts, and it's difficult not to root for her and the companions she makes along the way.
Puppy Dog Pals Pups On A Mission
by Disney Book Group

The puppies wanted to play a ball but they couldn't find it. Bingo and Rolly were looking everywhere but finally they found a ball in the bathtub where they left it. I like this book because it is easy to read and the puppies are cute.

Looking For Alaska
by John Green
View in Library Catalog
Looking for Alaska was one of my favorites when I first read it back in high school. Now a college graduate, and I wanted to see how it would hold up. There were still many things to love about this story. It's easy to read, has likeable characters, and is a fairly straight forward plot that does try to tackle some of life's deeper questions. From a slightly more mature perspective, I question these characters and their actions a little bit more than I did several years ago, but I still think it's worth a read, especially if you have never read any other John Green books before.

RAINBOW FISH: THE DANGEROUS DEEP
by Leslie Goldman

I like this book because it has nice pictures and this book teaches kids that they should listen to adults and not to walk away by themselves because they can be in danger.
