House Rules
by Jodi Picoult

Another gem by Jodi Picoult. In this book she brings to light the day to day life and struggles that families living with children who have Asperger's syndrome experience. She then takes it to another level when the main character (an 18 year old with Asperger's) is charged with the murder of his social skills tutor. His younger brother is also involved and the reader does not find out what actually happened that day until the very end of the book. Although I was still left with questions that I wish could have been answered after the final page I would definitely recommend this book. As usual Picoult brings to light insights into an often unexplored topic and is able to weave into the story opportunities for self reflection and introspection.

I like Amelia Badelia because she is very funny. I read this story in two days because I needed some help with the vocabulary. Amelia was a reporter for a local school newspaper and she did a great job.

Jonathan Lyons is murdered a week after finding a letter written by Christ, he was trying to see if it was authentic or not. Plenty of twists & turns to keep you guessing. Didn't figure out who did it until the end.

I like this book because Danny likes dinosaurs like I do. When Danny went to the museum and saw dinosaurs he wanted to play with one. In this story Danny meets a live dinosaur at the museum and goes out into the City with him for a day of adventure.
Object of My Affection

A humorous look at how a personal organizer convinces an elderly artist to divest herself of a houseful of objects she's been hoarding for years. At the same time, the organizer gets to see and understand the why the artist held on to things and why she, herself could not let go of some things in her life. I recommend the book as it really got into some of the whys of hoarding and was written in an uplifting way.
Agnes at the End of the World
by Kelly Mcwilliams

This is a story about two teenage sisters living in a cult where the people are all brainwashed by a prophet and they believe in polygamy. There is also a global pandemic going on along with a little touch of fantasy splashed in. It's faced paced and held my attention. I recommend this book.
