You Never Forget Your First
by Alexis Coe
View in Library Catalog
This is a biography of George Washington that takes a closer look at myths and stories surrounding him that we have always thought true and debunks them. This book makes you realize though Washington was a great man, he wasn't perfect. I recommend it as the author brings up many interesting facts about him that makes you see him more clearly, faults and all.
The Gingerbread Cookie Mystery
by Judy Katschke

It is a nice story because I like to build a Gingerbread House. Ms. Fickle class built a gingerbread house as well, but one piece of the house went missing. In this case, the only thing that I didn't like in this story was that kids were blaming each other about missing snowflake cookie. But finally the mystery was solved and everybody was very happy.

John Sanford always writes a good story. In this one Marshall Lucas Davenport & FBI are tasked with investigating who put up a website of Senators kids on the dark web. The website is filled with hate groups like Nazis,KKK stuff & it seems like its promoting killing the kids. The message is directed at people against the government, minorities & religions. A child is shot but not one of the targeted ones. The shooter, Dunn is a lone wolf antigovernment person. Now the hunt for Dunn is escalated & Lucas is tracking down every known home grown terrorist group. Davenport figures out that the website was a publicity hoax by a Senators daughter. Davenport does get the shooter, gets the site shutdown & gets in out in media that site is a hoax to prevent further shootings.

This story was easy to read and has a nice pictures. I like that Slam and Dunk have a big basketball game against the Bobcats. Their parents were watching the game but Dunk lost confidence when he saw that the Bobcats were BIG. Slam and Dunk finally defeated Bobcats. This is a great lesson about teamwork.

11/22/63 Stephen King Paperback
by Stephen King

Epic journey through history with great plot twists, and of course, romance. Not your typical horror from King, but a delightful, exciting journey back in time. The ending is well worth the 700 plus pages!
